Let’s get started!
Consistency is a fundamental aspect of achieving success in any area of life. Whether you're working towards a specific goal in your career, personal development, or relationships, the ability to remain consistent in your actions and decisions is crucial to reaching your destination. When you remain consistent in your actions and decisions, you are able to build momentum and focus on the small steps that lead to your desired outcome.
It helps to develop discipline and the ability to overcome obstacles. Instead of getting caught up in the numbers, stay focused on your own progress and keep moving forward. Consistency is essential to making progress, no matter what the end result may be.
Staying focused on the progress instead of numbers means focusing on the small steps that lead to the desired outcome, rather than becoming too fixated on the final result. It requires discipline and the ability to focus on the journey, rather than the destination. That means, being able to remain consistent in your actions and decisions, and build momentum towards your goal to develop the necessary skills to overcome any obstacles that may appear along the way.
When you consistently take small steps towards your goal, those steps eventually add up and lead to significant progress.
However, many people become too focused on the numbers and the end results, rather than the process.
They become obsessed with achieving a specific outcome, rather than focusing on the small steps that lead to that outcome.
But it's important to remember that the numbers don't tell the whole story. You never know who is behind those numbers, and it's important to remember that everyone's journey is different. For example, someone who achieves a high level of success in their career may have had to overcome significant obstacles and challenges along the way. Similarly, someone who appears to be struggling may be on the brink of a breakthrough.
Right now, I've almost 10,000 followers on Instagram, it's not a particularly incredible number for what you can achieve today. I've been creating content for over a year and I've only just reached 10,000 followers, but the number is not so important, but the people you reach with the content you make. A few months ago, I received a proposal for more than 10,000€ for a project, all thanks to the fact that that person consumed the content I made on social networks and seeing the value that I contributed in the content, he thought it would be a good option to solve the problems they had.
This means that numbers are not always what matters. Practicing a lot is what makes you improve your skills as a designer, the numbers will come later, but they always end up coming. I never thought that a client would accept a proposal of 10,000€, which is what I could earn in almost 10 months of work in any other job. Even if the numbers don't come, the likes on Dribbble, the followers on Behance... keep practicing, keep uploading the content you make and keep sharing the work you do.
The key is to focus on your own journey and to stay consistent in your actions, regardless of what the numbers may say. Keep in mind that progress and success are not always measured by numbers, but by the progress you make and the person you become along the way.
Consistency also helps you to develop discipline and the ability to overcome obstacles. When you make a commitment to consistency, you're making a commitment to yourself to do the work, even when it's hard. This discipline and focus will help you to overcome any obstacle that comes your way.
In conclusion, consistency is an essential aspect of achieving success. Don't get too caught up in the numbers, and remember that everyone's journey is unique. Stay focused on your own progress, and keep moving forward. Remember, progress is not always measured by numbers, but by the progress you make and the person you become along the way.
